As we walked towards the 2nd floor of the mall, Noodle House came into view and you could see people have started to gather and mostly only the invitees were able to enter the Red Carpet area and the restaurant itself. I was greeted by 2 representatives of Take II asking me decently if I was an invitee. After speaking to one of them, I asked what his company does and what was his designation in it? He answered brilliantly. (You can tell by how Tehmina Khaled has either trained them to do so or they were just well-mannered and tuned into their culture) A lot of respect to these young ladies and gentlemen who literally help in such events.

First after taking my invitee card, one of the team members lead me to a press desk where it was verified. The security seemed tight with the help of the officials from Dolmen mall itself. After getting through the professional clearance (or how I call it :P) I had a sudden urge to walk in the kitchen and see for my self how the magic happens. So for that I was guided by another gentlemen.

It was very helpful of Sunny and his team and once again I am impressed by how these people handle such busy events, be it Take II or other event organising companies. (Realising how this is going into a rant) back to the kitchen side: The smell of the food was in the air and it was a very classy show of food. The Dolmen Mall security was great and we also had an encounter with Amna who was in some way or the other related to Noodlehouse. (I have no idea why I am mentioning this) We got a few great insights on how the dishes are made so tasty by visiting the kitchen which had a good standard of cleanliness) and the focus on the quality of thefood is of the essence. The food of course tasted great and all the guests inside were served with starters consisting of prawns, chicken and Noodles.

People are intuitively drawn to the vibrant atmosphere of the noodle house. It is a restaurant where chefs whip up aromatic dishes within minutes over an open flame, in full view of guests. Diners feel at ease in the cheery atmospheric buzz which is a combination of fun, casual and fine dining. In keeping with the unpretentious, streetwise ambiance diners simply tick their choices on an order pad, hand it to their servers and are often surprised at how quick the food reaches their tables. While food is served quickly – indeed, diners are often surprised at just how soon their meal arrives – it is also light years ahead from the standard concept of ‘fast food’.

The event was hosted by lovely Ayesha Omer and it was jam packed with a lot of delicious
Noodlehouse dishes. All in all, a great event and very well organised by Tehmina Khaled and her team at Take II.
